the girl in the pic was a bit character from the short lived anime adaptation of the manga Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita, the anime & the manga are titled "Battle Angel" state side.
anyway as popular as it was, Manga entertainment only produced two half hour episodes based off of the first two volumes of the original manga.
while rewatching the 1st episode I noticed this chick's designe looked a bit familiar to a certaine 80's animated icon................................... yeah shes basically Jem, but we only see her on screen for about 30sec but it was pretty funny to point out some of the funny stuff in that anime, & by funny stuff I mean stuff thats either different from the manga, though its pretty accurate. or just stuff I find funny in this dark series.... well it can get dark, but the manga does have a lot of humor in it............dark humor.
